"It's the type of job where you wake up every morning and look forward to every day, to seeing your animals," said McClean, who heads up the Australia section of the zoo. "It's not your regular 9-5 job. It's totally different. Your working with animals. You're caring for them and they're counting on you. And you feel like you can't let them down. It's a challenge. It's a responsibility. When I'm with them, I tend to forget about everything else, about what's bothering you. It's like you're entering their world."
